About Me

Welcome on my website!
My name is Mark Granza, I’m born in 1991, and I’m a long time passionate about Psychology.
A careful student of Canadian academic and public intellectual Jordan B. Peterson since 2 years ago, I’ve been particularly influenced by his teachings, by Stoicism, Carl G. Jung, and by “The Master” Dostoevsky.

Having lived in the UK for years and followed northern Americans public figueres for some time, I’m particularly fond of Western culture and an admirer of it’s societies.
My favourite movies are – besides those you can find on my “shelf” – are: “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” (I’ll never get sick of watching it), “Annie Hall” (seen it 10 times and aim to reach a 100 by the time I’ll stop breathing), “Cindarella Man”, and “A Clockwork Orange” by Mr. Kubrick.
My favourite books – always to be found on my site – are “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee (Atticus Finch is the Man), Orwell’s “1984”, “The Master and Margarita” by Bulgakov (a mistery), all the books from Mr Aldous Huxley, and every single word ever written by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky! With “Crime and Punishment” undoubtedly on top.
I’m also an occasional Juventus football fan and, how can I say this… A “psychological case”!

After seven years lived between London and Barcelona – mostly spent asking myself what the real Meaning of Life is – about a year ago I had a serious accident that forced me to stop and rediscover myself in Italy.
During such period of hard and painful recovery – both physically and psychologically – I had the chance to immerse myself into great literature, get to know the world of Podcasts, reflect on my previous mistakes, and look for a way out of the mess I put myself into.

After spending countless hours listening to lectures, conferences, and debates from some of the world’s most influential thinkers, and inspired by the emergent Intellectual movement in the West, I thought of starting a Blog with the goal of sharing the lessons learned, outlining the most fascinating ideas, and to create a platform – the Podcast – where any sort of idea or argument can be discussed openly.
